Rules for my Triple Triad game

My game can be played with at least 2 players (preliminary playtesting done with two players, 4x4 grid)

RULES

Each player starts with two cards in their hand.
They MUST play a card each turn.
After the end of a turn, the player draws another card from their deck.

COMBAT

When two opposing cards touch sides they do combat. The card with the highest number on the touching side wins. The winning player "kills" the card, and places a matching colour card (worth no points)

SKIRMISH

A skirmish happens when one card ends up facing more than one card. In this manner, a player can end up killing two cards in one turn.

The green card (400) is now in combat with two yellow cards (400 and 200). To work out who wins, take it step by step. Green 400 beats yellow 400, but yellow 200 beats green 400. So two cards die, and are taken by yellow 200.

In the event of a Skirmish tie, (for example, if there is a 4 vs 1 skirmish) a dice roll determines the winner.

FINISHING THE GAME

The game ends when the grid has been completely filled up.

The person with the most amount of points wins. (blank cards count for 0).
