Game Iteration 2 Part 2 - Christine

So I started with something simple. What I liked about Triple Triad was the battle system. How a simple game of "higher number wins" can be turned into a really strategic board game.

It's pretty simple. Place a card down. If your opponent places a card next to you, they battle. The number that is highest on the sides that are touching converts the card of the losing team to their colour.

For example...

I am green, my opponent is yellow. I go first and place my green token down.

My opponent places a yellow token down. See where the sides touch. Their 5 is higher than my 1. So they destroy my card by covering it with their matching yellow token (no numbers - see below).

Now it's my turn (green)

I place my green token next to their yellow token. My 4 beats their 1 (where the sides touch). So I end up controlling it-

It got boring really fast. We didn't have to make any decisions because there was nothing to gain and no consequences. We just played any card we wanted. But what if some cards were worth more than the others?
