Kakapo Models 7

Feedback

So the previous models do not work well with the board. There is no colour harmony and I probably went too far with arbitrarily picking colours. The purple is too dark and the silver doesn't work at all.

The best thing I can do is repaint them, and try to make the colours harmonise a bit more. For the default kakapo I will try doing split complimentary of something. Time to repaint!

Process

First I applied a new base coat to all nests.

I drybrushed an orange on top of the red. The washes I used in the previous
iterations were making the models too dark, so I decided to not put a
wash on for these ones.

The model after 3 drybrushing layers. Red > Orange > Yellow Orange > White.

The red model looks a lot nicer so I decided I will repaint all 6 models using a drybrushing technique.
