I finally have a method to smooth out my kakapo models from the printer. I use acetone vapor by dropping a couple of capfuls in an airtight container surrounded by paper towels.
After a couple of hours the kakapo is finally smoothed and shiny!
I then prime them with Citadel primer (the warhammer stuff) and then paint them.
