I painted all of the kakapo nests. During this process, we as a team decided that the trees weren't representative of kakapo nests. So we stuck with these.
I handpainted these all. The pipes are also removable and you can mix and match them for further customisation. Each nest has a base coat, a wash, and another base coat applied for detailing. They are not varnished so kids can add more paint detailing as they wish. I tried a variety of colours and used solids and metallics.
